Audition Information:

We are excited to offer the opportunity to submit an audition online! The audition deposit will be $50.00. When cast in the show, your $50 will be applied to your show fee. Just follow these simple steps...

1. Register for auditions on your POG Dance Studio-Pro account

2. Fill out the Audition Form

3. On the form include your headshot, resume, and video submission. You may fill this out even if you don't have your video submission ready yet!

4. We will begin casting in June so make sure you get your videos in by June 17th!

What should be on my video submission?

You may include ANY of the material on our "audition materials" buttons. We have submitted all of the show music, sides, and sheet music available for auditions. The key is to choose material that you are most confident singing and reading. The only requirement is that we hear you sing at least one of the available songs without the background vocals. After that, you may sing as many songs as you wish and read as many sides as you would like. Sides are not required.

Video Tips:

1. Quality over quantity

2. If available, choose a song that is closely related to the character you would like to be considered for

3. When reading sides choose only one character to read for at a time and have a family member read the other character in the scene

4. Consider adding movement in your song and sides

5. Dress to impress and be professional

Do I need to have my audition material memorized? Memorization is encouraged but not required. The priority is that the student feels confident and is able to showcase their best performing!

How many video files may I submit? You can either record all of your material in one take or submit multiple recordings.

Will everyone be cast in the show? It is rare that an auditionee is not cast in a show.

What is the age cut off date? All actors will need to be 6 years old by 8/1/2020.
