Ballet Class
Class Attire & Class Description
Ballet Class Attire: Any black style leotard, pink tights (footed or convertible), skirt (optional), and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be worn in a bun. No loose clothing will be permitted into class. All of your dance needs can be found at Gracie's Boutique, located in our studio lobby. No denim, hair in a bun, and all midriffs covered!
Ballet Class Description: Ballet students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations. As students progress through each level, curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.
Jazz Class
Class Attire & Class Description
Jazz Class Attire: Attire including fitted dance shorts or leggings paired with a fitted athletic top, or tights and a leotard with tan jazz shoes for class. All of your dance needs can be found at Gracie's Boutique, located in our studio lobby. No denim, hair in a bun or ponytail, and all midriffs covered!
Jazz Class Description: Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. As students progress, curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.
Tap Class
Class Attire & Class Description
Tap Class Attire: Attire including fitted dance shorts or leggings paired with a fitted athletic top, or tights and a leotard worn with black tap shoes. All of your dance needs can be found at Gracie's Boutique, located in our studio lobby. No denim, hair in a bun or ponytail, and all midriffs covered!
Tap Class Description: Tap is designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.
Contemporary Class
Class Attire & Class Description
Contemporary Class Attire: Dance attire including fitted dance shorts or leggings paired with a fitted T-shirt or tank top, or tights and a leotard with tan jazz shoes for class. All of your dance needs can be found at Gracie's Boutique, located in our studio lobby. No denim, hair in a bun or pony tail, and all midriffs covered!
Contemporary Class Description: Contemporary dance encourages dancers to be versatile in their expressions, being able to portray a wide array of movement styles and emotion. It focuses on spacial and body awareness, use of body weight, floor work, leaps, turns, efficiency of muscle usage, and safe body alignment.
Hip-Hop Class

Hip-Hop Class Attire: Attire including fitted dance shorts or leggings paired with a fitted athletic top with tan jazz shoes (purchased from Gracie’s Boutique) or tennis shoes. All of your dance needs can be found at Gracie's Boutique, located in our studio lobby. No denim, hair in a bun or ponytail, and all midriffs covered!
Hip-Hop Class Description: Hip-Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves.
Acrobatics Class

Acrobatics Class Description: Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique. Students will learn handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, & contortion tricks.
